Position: Community Entrepreneurship & Empowerment Officer
Location: Rwanda (with field travel across different regions)
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement community-based entrepreneurship and empowerment programs
- Train and mentor beneficiaries in basic business, financial literacy, and income-generating activities
- Identify and support viable small business initiatives within communities
- Monitor and evaluate program impact and progress
- Build strong relationships with community leaders and local partners
- Support beneficiaries in accessing markets and economic opportunities
- Prepare reports on program implementation and outcomes
Qualifications & Requirements:
- Proven experience in community development, entrepreneurship, or related field
- Strong training, facilitation, and mentoring skills
- Good understanding of small business development and financial literacy
- Ability to work in rural and urban communities across the country
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet targets
- High level of integrity, commitment, and teamwork
