Role Overview

We are a fast-growing startup revolutionizing the customer experience with our mobile flow management solution. We eliminate long wait times by allowing customers to join virtual lines through SMS or WhatsApp.

We are seeking a Business Development & Acquisition Specialist to join our team. Your primary mission is to identify, approach, and close partnership deals with high-impact businesses in the healthcare or financial services sectors.

This is a short-term contract position for a self-starter who thrives on outreach, relationship building and ideally has a strong network in the local healthcare practice or financial services. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Target Identification: Build a high-quality pipeline of decision-makers within healthcare facilities and retail financial services.
  • Outreach & Engagement: Conduct personalized outreach to secure meetings with key stakeholders.
  • Deal Closing: Manage the sales process from initial contact to securing signed agreements.
  • Onboarding Support: Briefly support the onboarding of partners.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Demonstrated success in B2B sales, business development, or partnerships, preferably within the technology space. 
  • Ability to understand and convey complex technical concepts in simple, compelling language.
  • A proactive, hunter mentality with the ability to handle rejection professionally and maintain momentum.
  • Strong time-management skills and the ability to operate independently with minimal oversight.
  • Strong preference for someone with a high value network in healthcare or financial services sectors with or without sales experience. 

Compensation & Terms

  • Contract Structure: 3 month contract with the possibility of a longer term engagement.
  • Compensation: Competitive retainer in USD + performance-based bonus upon successful execution.
  • Flexibility: This role is fully remote in Rwanda.
